The problem

Most startup MVPs fail because they are scoped and built wrong.

01

Agencies that scope to sell, not to ship.

The more features in the proposal, the bigger the invoice. Nobody has an incentive to cut scope. So nothing gets cut, the build takes months, and by the time it launches the assumptions are six months stale. Your window closes while you are still in Figma.

02

Perfect is the enemy of live.

MVPs built to be perfect before launch never launch. Scope creep kills momentum. Three months becomes six. Every stakeholder adds one more feature. The product becomes a Frankenstein of good intentions that proves nothing because nobody can use it yet.

03

Built to demo, not to grow.

The MVP works in a meeting room but falls apart with real users. No error handling, no edge cases, no thought about what happens when traction actually arrives. You end up rebuilding the entire product six months later. The original MVP was a waste of time and money.

We build MVPs that prove the point and grow past it, scoped to launch in four weeks and architected to scale from day one.

See what you get →
What you get

Not a prototype. A live product, properly built.

Every MVP build includes the same core package. No features hidden behind tiers. No surprises on what is included.

Live, deployed product

Not a staging environment. Not a demo. A live URL your users can visit from day 28.

Full source code and Git history

You own everything. Clean commit history, properly branched, with documentation your next developer can follow.

Analytics and event tracking

User behaviour tracking, event logging, and a dashboard you can actually read from the first session.

QA report and test coverage

Cross-device, cross-browser QA matrix. Every edge case documented. Nothing ships without sign-off.

Architecture documentation

Every technical decision documented with rationale so your next hire inherits clarity, not confusion.

30 days post-launch support

Bugs, edge cases, and questions answered. We do not hand over a zip file and disappear.

How we build

Four weeks. Here is exactly what happens each one.

#PhaseWhat happensWhen
01Scope and architectureWe define the minimum feature set that proves your idea. Sprint planning, tech decisions, and design system locked down. You sign off on a written scope before any code is written.Week 1
02Core buildPrimary user flows built, tested, and deployed to staging. Backend with live database and API endpoints. Daily check-ins so you are never in the dark for more than 24 hours.Week 2
03QA and securityFull QA pass across devices. Load testing with documented limits. Security review covering auth, data handling, and OWASP basics. We break it before your users do.Week 3
04LaunchProduction deployment with zero-downtime rollout. Analytics and monitoring live. First-hour monitoring with us online. Handover call covering everything built, how it works, and what comes next.Week 4
05Iterate and growPost-launch analytics reviewed. User feedback incorporated. New features scoped and built by the same team that understands every decision that was made.Ongoing

Is this the right fit

We are direct about who we work best with.

This is right for you if

You need your startup product live, fast.

  • You have a validated idea and need something users can actually touch
  • You are raising a seed round and need a live product in the room
  • You want to test a hypothesis before committing a bigger budget
  • You have been burned by slow, scope-creeping agency builds before
  • You need a team that will push back on scope, not pad it
Probably not the right fit if

You want something we cannot do well.

  • You want every feature before launch and cannot prioritise
  • You need a game or heavy 3D rendering product
  • You want the cheapest possible build regardless of architecture
  • You are looking for a body shop to fill seats, not ship a product

If any of these describe you, we will tell you on the first call rather than waste your time or ours.

What founders say

Results over promises.

David

David

Founder at Seconddate

Foundry 5 really impressed me with their work on my AI-powered dating app. They nailed the UI/UX, starting with core app screens and then translating that vision to the web. The React site they built is sleek and polished - exactly what I was hoping for. What I appreciated most was their thoughtful approach and how easy they were to work with. They got the job done without needing me to micromanage.

Phil Blows

  • Reprioritise each sprint
  • Weekly progress updates
  • Scale up or down as needed

Yes, with the right scope. The four weeks works because we scope tightly at the start. A four-week MVP is not a full product. It is the smallest version that proves your hypothesis. If your hypothesis requires six months to prove, we will tell you that on the first call. We do not overpromise timelines to win work.

A half-formed idea is completely fine for a first call. We are good at helping founders figure out what the right MVP actually is. What we cannot work with is complete uncertainty about the problem being solved. If you know the problem but not the solution, book a call. That is exactly the right stage to talk to us.

We cover UI and UX as part of the MVP build. You do not need a separate designer or Figma files before you come to us. We work from product goals, not from a finished design spec. The two things happen together, which is why we can move as fast as we do.

For the four-week MVP, we have an honest conversation about what a change means for the timeline. Nothing happens without your agreement. The scope document exists specifically so both sides are aligned before code starts.

Yes. We start with a short codebase audit, give you an honest assessment of what is worth keeping, and agree a path forward. We do not bill for the audit. We do it so we can give you a fair scope.

We agree on a small, well-defined piece of the project. We build it, deliver it, and you review it. If you are not happy with the quality, the process, or the communication, you get a full refund. You keep what we built. No strings.

Yes. Post-launch support is included for 30 days. Beyond that, most clients move into a sprint-based engagement for ongoing development. The team that built your product is the best team to iterate on it.
